Indoor Cricket
At the National Indoor Cricket Centre we play Indoor Cricket every weeknight. Monday thru to Thursday is our 8 aside competition, with a 6 aside competition on Fridays. Over a 100 teams compete within the grade thst suits their team's skills, ability and experience.
Information
Teams play on the same night every week.
- Monday – Thursday: 8 aside.
- Friday: 6 aside.
Game times.
- Monday - Thursday: 5.30pm, 6.50pm, 8.10pm and 9.30pm
- Friday: 5.30pm, 6.30pm, 7.30pm and 8.30pm
- The NICC follows the rules as set out by the Australian Indoor Cricket Federation. Some minor variations have been made for the 6 aside game.
Nomination, Club Membership and Insurance Cost
- 8 aside: $104 ($13.00 per player)
- 6 aside: $60 ($10 per player)
- Pay your nomination by round 6 to receive 10 bonus competition points.
Weekly Game Fee
- 8 aside: $104 ($13.00 per player)
- 6 aside: $60 ($10 per player)
All umpires and equipment are provided.
Exact matching T-shirts are required by round 5.
Finals consist of 1st v 4th and 2nd v 3rd. Winners play in the grand final.
Grades that consist of 7 or more teams will be split for the finals.
Players must play a minimum of 4 games to qualify for finals.
A Most Valuable Player award will be run in each grade.
A forfeit fee will apply to those teams not giving more then 48 hours notice of forfiet. If your team has trouble getting players, we will do our best to find players, or arrange a time change so that teams are able to play their regular night.
Junior Indoor Cricket
Junior Indoor Cricket is played every Friday at 4.10pm during the school term. The cost to play is $5 per person, and the age group ranges from 7 to 13 years. There is no need for your child to have a team, as the teams are decided on the day. This allows a greater degree of flexibility and fairness. All standards are welcome and there is no need to book – just turn up.
